Is It Fine If One Dose Of Cirprofloxacin Is Missed?

Good Morning, my name is Samarra sadly I had an abortion yesterday and the dr prescribed me cirprofloxacin for three days two times a day 12 hours apart from one another. Yesterday the instructions said after I get home for the procedure I should eat and immediately take the first pill and another before bed time with a snack. Today I was told to take one after breakfast and the other one 12 hours after with a snack. Because I was very tired from them putting me to sleep I only took one when I got home I never took the other one before bedtime last night and this morning I took one after breakfast. Is it ok if I missed that dose last night? And when should I take the missed dosed if at all?

Hello and welcome,

Please do not worry.
There is no problem if you missed that one dose. Continue to take your doses every 12 hours until all the prescribed tablets are over. Meaning that the missed dose will be taken in the end 12 hours after the regular doses are over.

All the tablets contain same drug in same amount so it does not matter whichever tablet you take first or last.
