Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm sena from USA originally a Indian from Bangalore. We have been eating Ragi balls ever since our childhood at night for dinner. I'm practicing the same habit for my 2 year old toddler. But Ragi is considered to have more nutrients, which might be difficult to digest in night as we have less activities in night. Is it true that Ragi might convert to sugar or Ragi might not digest well when we eat ragi ball in the night?I don't know our previous generations have eaten Ragi all the time, But they had lot of work to do unlike us. What do you suggest?
Ragi is one of the most nutritious foods available. You can give your child ragi even at night but do not force feed. Also you may need to make the ragi soft in consistency for easier digestion.
