Is It Fine To Take Benadryl For Soreness In Eyelids?

I recently took a Benadryl for what I thought might help my eye. I woke up with soreness on my eyelid right next to my eyelash thinking it might be a style. There is no redness or anything near my eye just my eyelid next to my eye lashes in one spot. This morning it was really swollen and even sore when I awoke. I took the Benadryl about and hour ago and then took 2 800mg ibuprofen for swelling and the soreness. Is this okay? Or what precautions do I need to take?

You are suffering from blepharitis. clean the lid margin with sterile swab apply neosporine ophthalmic ointment over lid margin. If there is dandruff in eye brow and scalp then applynizral sol ution. If itching then take levocetrizine 5mg tablet daily.
