Is It Fine To Take Pyricontin And Deviry To Get Periods On Time And Without Pain?

hi i am anita, i am 39 years old married - i hv one son - from past six months i get my periods one week before my due date.. which causes lot of pain before 5-6 of my periods - at present my gynacologist has kept me on tablets pyricontin for 60 days and deviry 10 mg for 20 days to get my periods on time... is it ok

Welcome to HCM,
Pyricontin may help you in your premenstrual syndrome of pain, mood disturbances, painful breast etc. If it is taken in small dose for short duration, and after excluding certain conditions, it has no problem. Deviry is a progesteron which will help you in reducing the blood flow and regularizing your period. May be first cycle you have been advised to take for 20 days, and from next month your Doctor may ask you to take only for 10 days, depending on effects of Deviry on your period.
