Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Welcome to HCM,
1.Asthalin is a broncodiatar and usually not prescribed before 6 month as bronchiole does not developed before this age.
2.And another thing is that the idea of 'cough out' by 42 old is unscientific and useless as she cant do it.
so please go for another child clinic for proper management for your baby.
thanks.

Pediatrician Dr. Jasbir S Chugh's  Response
Dear friend
I agree with your concern about use of cough syrup although your doctor might be able to tell if there was a need for the same. In a 42 days old baby ,generally the nose blockage is a problem which is helped by steam inhalations and mild decongestant nasal drops.

Best of luck.
