Is It Harmful To Have Jackfruit During Pregnancy?

hello Doctor,

I am 30yrs old, am pregnant for 120days, I have couple of doubts, people make me scared, please help
1.Is it harmfult to have jackfruit during pregnancy ?
2.is while pregnancy we shoudl not sleep staight facing upside, we should sleep left side or right side ?

Hi,thanks for writing..
There is no problem in having jack fruit in oregnancy.. But excess intake csn cause gaseous dustensiin which may cause abdominal distension.. This dont have any effect on your pregnancy.. Yes after 3 months, it sould be better to sleep on your left side.. This increases the blood fkow ro the baby.. Lieing straight for sometime is ok but not for hrs.. Here pregnant uterus presses upon veins which may decrese the blood fliw to the fetus.. Hope I have answered your query.. Good day
