Is It Harmful To Have Loose Motions And Fatigue During Pregnancy?
hi Doctor,
I'm 12 weeks pregnant and i started to have slightly loose motions since the morning. I went twice already and there was severe cramping. however, other than fatigue, there has been no bleeding of any kind...could you advice what the reason could be?
Loose motions are bad for pregnancy especially if they are associated with pain in abdomen. You have to mention your exact gestation age(in weeks as well as days)as this is the factor which will decide your medication. What medication are you taking?(Folic acid or Iron and Calcium). You should stop your Iron as sometimes it causes stomach upset.Take home made light food-Moong dal Khichdi with curd,Rice ,fruit like banana. You have to take water preferably-electrol to maintain electrolite balance. If your motions and pain doesnot subside you have to consult doctor in clinic ,you might need injectables.
