Is It Necessary To Remove Adenoids And Enlarged Tonsils?

Yes, my son 8 yrs old has had enlarged tonsils since he was about 2yrs & snores as loud as an adult dose . Also found out by an xray today that he also has a moderate enlargement of the adenoids. Dose this mean that his tonsils & adenoids will come out. I'm not concern if they do, I am just wondering.
