Hi,

Gemfos contains risedronate which is used to treat and prevent weakening of the bones or osteoporosis caused by menopause or use of
steroids. This medication can also be used to treat Paget's disease of bone, a condition in which the bones are weak, thin, deformed and easily fractured. Using this medication can reduce your risk of breaking bones.

Osteofit XT contains calcium carbonate and vitamin D or calcitriol which is used to ensure adequate supply of calcium to bones. Osteofit XT is a nutritional supplement. It is taken by people who have low calcium levels in their blood. It is used in elderly people to keep bones healthy and strong as well as is even effective in chronic arthritis and osteoporosis. Collaflex sachet is a collagen based nutritional supplement. It contains collagen peptide, vitamin C and Glucosamine as active ingredients. It is prescribed to the patients having rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Your doctor is the best judge and he will choose the best medications for for you to subside your sufferings. So, you should follow his directions strictly. It is not necessary to take Gemfos while taking Osteofit XT. Your doctor will decide whether it is need to take Gemfos while Osteofit XT or not according to your severity and disease conditions.

Take care. Hope I have answered your questions. Let me know if I can assist you further.
