Is It Necessary To Take Biofer,corcium And Diamet SR During Pregnancy?

hi am 5month pregnet. my doctor prescribed me to take tablets like Biofer, Corcium, ASA, Diamet SR 500, Duphastron.i become pregnet at the age of 32 after 5th year of marriage. my husband working in abroad.i want to know whether this tablet is necessary?please help

hi biofer is iron supplement which is very essential to prevent anaemia in the mother as diet alone cannot provide enough iron .corcium is calcium supplement to provide for additional calcium needs in pregnancy and asa is multivitamin.duphaston is a progestrones which supports the pregnancy and reduces the chances of abortion or preterm delivery.diamet sr 500 is required in pcos cases. so u must continue with these drugs throughout pregnancy. you can stop duphaston at 37 weeks . all the best and take care .
