Is It Necessary To Take Diet Control For A Pre-diabetic?

Hello, I am a 54 y.old female African American, had history of diabetes in my family (dad side)
Recently I checked my blood sugar and results came back at 125. Fasting. That was on the 1st this month and since then I've been watching an logging all my food intake. Actually am behaving like someone who is not just pre diabetic but I eat like a diabetic. Am I doing the right thing? Thank you

Your sugar levels show you are a pre-diabetic, and you also have family history of diabetes. this show you at higher risk of getting Diabetes.
So what you are doing regarding diet, eating like a diabetic is very good. Small frequent, low carbohydrate, high fibre diet definitely helps you in delaying or preventing diabetes.

Also concentrate on good physical exercises which add on your efforts in delaying diabetes.
