I had UTI with very sharp back ach doctors I ve IBS dyherreal doctor gave me ciprofloxacimn 500 mg and risek 20 mg which made my condition worse when I reported back in hospital they advised IV ciprofloxacimn and risek but my body reacted and just flygle was administered - today ultrasound done blood cp everything normal but in urine 4-6 pus and blood cells indicated I felt better after a day I need to know should I remain on flygle but doctors says I need some combination of antibiotics with it what s your take do I really need more antibiotics with flygle or not today is my third on flygle (IV ) ? Dear- thanks for using our service .It looks that you have urinary tract infection. The most common antibiotic used for UTI is cipro. I don't know why they gave you Flagyl too. It might be that you have a concomitant vaginal infection from bacterial vaginosis or they are thinking in an intestinal infection due to history of IBS and want to have a broad coverage with Flagyl.
