Is It Normal For A Mother To Offer Massage Her Sons Neck In Front Of His Girlfriend Or Wife?
Is it normal for a mother to offer to massage her sons neck in front of his girlfriend or wife. My boyfriend was telling his mother that his neck has been hurting and she replied you need a deep massage I replied that I gave him two massages and she asked her son while I was standing in front of her if he would like her to massage his neck. I don t know it was very ackward to me and I really don t feel it was appropriate on her part under these circumstances. What are you thoughts.

The relationship between a mother and a son is very pure. There are exceptions but let's not get into that.
I understand you got awkward. But some sons are extremely close to their mother, and even though the son can be 30/40, he is still that little young boy who used to run behind his mother all the time as a child. That is how a mother perceives a mother-son relationship. So for her, massaging his neck was not a big deal in front of you. You can always sense if something is wrong, but please do not take this in any other way. Because if you try telling him, things can get bad.
Some guys are very clingy to their mother. That's how it is.
