Usually not. But it may not be a huge problem or anything. Let the doctors do some testing and research to make sure it isn't a major heart problem. Murmers are usually not a big deal, but this may cause problems later in life if they continue to have heart murmers- limited physical activity, like school sports... Just to rule out anything major, have the doctors do some investigating. I had one at birth, but never had any other problems I am 23 today, and sometimes I feel like I have had heart murmers at different times. Never caused any problems though.
