Is It Normal For Baby To Have Softness After Head Injury?

Our my baby is standing pulling himself up on the couch. He lost his balance or just fell back. He had a little knot on his head. Now a little further back his head has a section that is gushy like. Is that normal to have a squishy part where his head is?

The soft part may be due to formation of fluid in the scalp because of injury.
It has to be examined by the doctor to know the nature of swelling.
Therefore I suggest you to see the doctor for clinical examination.
