It's not uncommon for your abdomen to still be swollen and slightly painful a few days after severe bleeding and blood transfusions, but it's important to monitor your symptoms closely. Get a follow up examination by your treating doctor to rule out fluid retention, infection or complications, etc. After blood transfusions, your body may retain fluid, leading to temporary swelling.
Bleeding and the recovery process can cause some abdominal discomfort as the body works to repair itself. However, if the pain becomes more severe, and symptoms like fever, redness, or increasing tenderness, or if the swelling worsens, you should urgently inform your treating doctor or visit ER so that you can get urgent medical care.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
