Is It Normal For My Period To Be Delayed By Four Days Despite Having Unprotected Intercourse?
I’m kinda unsure about my cycle that just started because I always have unprotected intercourse and get my period when I’m expecting to get it but this month I didn’t get until today and I was supposed to gotten 4 days ago and I don’t feel like my period is normal right now
You can wait a few more days. Periods can naturally fluctuate. To be on the safer side, you can take a pregnancy test if your period doesn’t come within a week. In case of severe cramps, abnormal discharge, or excessive bloating, and if your period is delayed by more than two weeks, get clinically examined by a gynecologist.
Your treatment will depend on the diagnosis made. Sudden weight loss, weight gain, or extreme exercise can affect menstrual cycles. You can wait for a few more days for periods to come. You can also take a pregnancy test to detect pregnancy.
