Is It Normal For One Testicle To Be Bigger Than The Other?
My right testicle is bigger in size compared to the left one. I was diagonised for acute epidydimitis two months back. Then i took treatment. Later i did all possible tests related to prostate problems and everything was found normal. At preset i am not taking any medication. Of late i started getting pain in my right testicle especially when it is stiff and this pain passed to right lower side of my abdomen. Kindly advise.
Hi. Ideally both the testicles are almost equal in size in a give n individual. Noted your history of right Epididymitis and enlargement of the right testicle than the left. The cause is never the epididymitis, it is usually associated with Orchitis as they are in continuity with each other. Associated secondary hydrocele may add to the problem of it.
I would advise you to go for urine culture and sensitivity. Semen analysis, its culture and sensitivity ultrasonography and color doppler of the scrotum Further medical treatment as per the reports is needed.
The pain in the lower abdomen on the right side is either due to referred pain or due to inflammation of the spermatic cord.
