I haven't been on birth control for over ten years and started taking Microgestin 4 months ago. I'm in my fourth month and almost ready to give up. I have bleeding for 3 weeks, then no bleeding for one week (the first week of pill cycle).



Additionally, as soon as I started taking this drug, I developed the most random and unexplained pain in the tops of my hands and wrists. I get it every month at about the same time and have nothing else to explain it to.



Thoughts?
