Is It Normal To Experience Back Pain, Weakness And White Discharge During Pregnancy?

I've had strong persistant back pain for the past 3days, I'm 38+1 w pregnant.
I feel really weak and all I am doing is sleeping.
I've had this milky white sticky discharge twice on the toilet paper since yesterday. I don't know what's going on and don't know whether to ring the midwife or not due to my pain.

Hello and thanks for the query,

Back ache, white discharge may be due to labor pains. The discharge may be the expelled mucus plug or infection. I suggest that you see your midwife and get the status of cervix and vagina checked to see other signs of labor or infection as soon as possible.
