Is It Normal To Experience Cold Sweats After A Cortisone Shot In The Knee?

I had a cortisone shot in my knee yesterday. I woke up in the middle of the night with cold sweats. Had to turn up my electric blanket to get warm. Woke up the next morning feeling ok. I was concerned by the cold sweats because that was one reaction that was not revealed to me by the doctor.

Yes, it's a steroid medication sometimes it can disturb the thermo-regulation in the body and cause chills or sweats. There is no need to be worried.
