Is It Normal To Experience Severe Cramps In The Hands And Legs While On Lisinopril?

I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and was prescribed Lisinopril, I ve been on it since last Thursday. Since Sunday night I started have severe cramps in my hand, legs, my sides and back muscles seem to spasm. Is this typical? if so what suggestions do you recommend?

Hi,

The muscle cramps are not related to Lisinopril and it may be due to something else.

As of now, drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated as dehydration can cause cramps.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
