Is It Normal To Feel Dizzy And Nauseous After Lumbar Fusion?
My 15-year-old son had a lumbar fusion at L5-S1 8 days ago and is still having trouble with dizziness and nausea when he is upright (sitting or standing). It does not seem to be improving. Is this normal? What can we do about it? Many thanks for your help.
I would explain that a long time of physiotherapy and rehabilitation is necessary for his full recovery. So, it is quite normal to feel this way. All you need is some patience and a lot of physiotherapy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
