Is It Normal To Feet Nauseated While Taking Livogen XT During Pregnancy?

Hi, I have just completed my first trimester of pregnancy. I have been advised to take LivogenXT 1 tablet daily, but everytime whenever I take it, after sometime suddenly I start feeling nauseatic and vomit out within one hour (dirty black color). It has been just three days of medicine intake. First day, I took it before sleep, I felt uneasy, but slept. On the other two days, I tried it during daytime, but vomited. Please advice.

Dear member
Thanks for writing.
The iron supplements cause gastric irritation and can cause nausea and vomiting in pregnancy.
You should stop it for a week and later try a different preparation like refill tablet.
If still symptoms persist then you should not take iron orally and instead go for injectable iron infusion
Call back or write for further queries
