Is It Normal To Get Acne On The Face And Torso After An Endometrial Ablation?

Is it normal to have acne on face, chest, and back after having an endometrial ablation? The procedure was done six weeks ago and I keep having breakouts. Also, how would an ablation cause this? The doctor said it would not mess with my hormones. Thanks.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The areas where you described your acne have erupted are purely under the control of hormones. Endometrial ablation doesn't have any connection to acne eruptions but the body undergoes certain amount of stress after any surgery. This in turn will disturb your hormones and give you breakouts.

Hope that helps!
