Well, I have continued to have heavy bleeding and pain. But now period has lasted 8 days and bled so heavy last 3 days of last cycle it felt like a fawcett was on. Now it s been 2 weeks and I started again yesterday...very heavy...two overnight pads at a time. Is this normal for 43 yr old?
Hello dear I understand your concern Your symptoms could be due to ovarian mass, hormonal imbalance, endometriosis, polyp, adenomyosis, Mass could be benign or malignant. I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan to confirm the cause. Specific treatment will depend on the specific cause Progesterone pill/shot and tranexaemic acid will help to reduce the bleeding. Avoid stress, take healthy diet with iron supplements, maintain proper pelvic hygiene. Hope this may help you
