Is It Normal To Get Pimples With Watery Pus The Days After Derma Rolling?

Is it normal to get pimples the days after derma rolling? I had it professionally done 5 days ago and I wouldnt say my skin is better then before I had it done. The pimples have more of a watery pus then a normal pimple, could that be because its coming from the deeper skin?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

During Dermaroller/ Microneedling, the skin gets punctured through with fine needles.

Seems that they might have done it a bit more aggressively which might have caused this pimply rash. It can sometimes happen if it is done with excess pressure OR if the needle size is increased.

If i was your treating doctor i would have asked you to apply a soothing lotion e.g calamine twice daily for 2-3 days to make it fine.

take care
regards
