Is It Normal To Have A Circular Growth Under My Eyelid And Light Pressure On Eyeball?

I have a circular growth under my eyelid that has grown to about 1cm diameter. It can only be seen when the eyelid is closed. There is no local pain but I feel just a slight irritation on the eye as though there may be light pressure on the eyeball. My grand-daughter said she had this once and it went away. I wanted to know if it is anything serious or common.

Hello,
It seems from the history that you are having a circular growth under eye lid and this is definitely not normal.
This can be wart or some benign lesion like xanthelasma.
If you can send me a photograph of the lesion I will be able to answer as it is difficult to decide based only on the history what you have provided here.
Hence this requires further evaluation by a eye doctor to find out what is this and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
