Is It Normal To Have Enlarged Tonsils With Noticeable Red Vein?
hi, my four year old girl has been off with bad chesty cough and sent back to school today...now she is complaining of sore tongue...when I looked into her throat tonsils are larger than nornal and there is a very noticable red vein on one of them...is this normal???
hi this is due to acute tonsillitis. upper respiratory tract infections lead to sore throats. consult an ENT surgeon and better to take a course of antibiotics (penicillins)for a week. and help the child in doing salt water gargling to relieve symptoms .
