Is It Normal To Have Faster Heart Rate After A Hysteroscopy?

Hi, I had a full hysterectomy 2 in a half mnts ago and was put on estradiol which made me sick to my stomach so they switched me to the patches and about a week later my heart started racing. So I took it off, now I havent been on anything for about a mnt and my heart starts racing agin. Is it normal? Does taking estrogen make your heart beat faster? Or is it just going thru menopause?

thank you so much for asking your question on healthcare magic. I will do my best to help you.

a racing heart is probably not related to the estrogen at all. if this problem continues, you should see your doctor so that he/she can help diagnose what is causing the racing heart. there are many possible causes, and it is important to get a proper diagnosis so that it can be treated.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions.
