Is It Normal To Have Headache And Tiredness After A Blood Donation?

Today was my first time donating blood and I almost passed out after they took it. I felt better so I got to go home but it's been 7 hours now and I still feel kinda sick,i have a headache, i'm sore, and i'm really tired even though I took a nap a few hours ago. Is it normal?

Given how you felt immediately afterward I would say...makes perfect sense that you should feel that way....1 pint of blood is a lot if you've never donated and you should just take it easy and drink lots of fluid over the next week or so...you'll be fine.
