Is It Normal To Have Increased Discomfort Three Weeks After A Da Vinci Procedure?

Hi,. I am 3 weeks post-op, Da Vinci procedure, everything removed except L ovary. I also had many adhesions/scar tissue and a great deal of endometriosis removed. Since surgery I have had discomfort and pulling on right lower side, the discomfort has seemed to increased the past 3 days and extends in to my R hip area. I m not sure if this normal and that maybe I did too much over the weekend, feeling discouraged because I feel like I should be feeling better and not like I did the first week following surgery, any thoughts?

Hi,

The DaVinic robot is used for more complicated procedures (scarring, endometriosis, big uterus) even though you had small incisions on your belly, you had major surgery inside.

It takes time to heal from that. Not putting in the rest and recovery will only make the pain last longer. If the pain doesn't seem to be improving you need to f/u with your surgeon.
