Is It Normal To Have Jaw Pain After Deviated Septum And Polyps Removal?

hi i had surgery for a deviated septum and polops removal in my sinuses i numbness in my teeth especially my molars now my upper right side is still a little numb but the rest of my teeth are back to normal.my biggest concern is that i cant open my mouth all the way because of jaw pain.is this normal? my surgery was july 7 and i had general anastetic and breathing tube.thx

hello, thanks for your query, patients with g/ a anesthetic and endotracheal tube may have pain in Jaw due to laxity of temparo mandibular joint or weekening due to arthritis which are manipulated during surgery.where mouth opening will be restricted. kindly do one xray to rule out the cause.visit an ent surgeon for further evaluation and treatment. hope I have answerd your query.all the best. take care.
