Is It Normal To Have Mild Cramping After Embryo Transfer?
ospiHello,I have had my embryo transfer 9 days ago and I have had strong cramps throughout the nine days. I have yet to have a period. I know it is often said mild cramping is common but my cramps are strong and particularly on the right side. Is this common?
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. It is normal to have slight cramping in the lower abdomen after embryo transfer in in vitro fertilization. It is due to the contracting uterus due to implantation. There is nothing to worry. However, of the cramps are severe, then you can consult your OBGYN to prescribe you progesterone support.
