Is It Normal To Have Pain In Lower Abdomen Or Bladder After The First Intecourse?
So I was a virgin, I just had sexual intercourse a couple days ago and the guy said he popped my cherry. so starting yesterday I'm starting to bleed down there. There's sharp pain in my bladder/ lower stomach area when i'm done urinating. Could you tell me if it's normal or not?
The pain in your bladder when you are done urinating might be due to a bladder infection. The blood may be because of your hymen (the medical term for the "cherry") tearing or it could be something else. Usually the bleeding will stop in a few days at the most, and should be mild. It may happen again for the next few times you have sex but will eventually stop altogether.
If the bleeding is severe and does not stop and gets heavier, you might want to see your doctor to make sure there is nothing worse. If the bladder pain persists you should see your doctor to make sure you don't have a bladder infection. You can first try to drink lots of fluid, especially cranberry juice, and this may resolve the infection. If that doesn't work, you should see your doctor.
