Is It Normal To Have Periods Twice In A Month While On Tri-sprintec?

I just started my first pack of Tri-Sprintec birth control. I ve started my period for the second time this month, is that normal? For a few days I ve been experiencing brownish discharge. I don t know what s going on. Will my period be longer than normal?

Hi,

Menstrual irregularities, including multiple periods can happen with birth controls like Trisprintec. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself even without treatment.

If symptoms are severe you can consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
