Is It Normal To Have Spotting Six Weeks After A Full Davinci Hysterectomy?

I'll be 6 weeks post surgery from a full divinci hysterectomy and still spotting. Is this normal? I see my doctor January 6th which will be the 7th week point to be released for work. I have a trip to china planned for January 13th. I don't think thus trip is reasonable and I'm kidding myself if I think I can travel all over china.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Spotting might be due to local infection OR suture reaction. Your doctor can examine locally (speculum examination) to know the cause & suggest appropriate treatment. If there are no other symptoms & you are otherwise fit, spotting should not deter you from traveling as planned.
Wish you good health.
Regards.
