Is It Normal To Have Swollen Forehead After Facial Injury?
hi i am currently recovering from a facial injury.my eye was really swollen and full of blood, later my cheek, jaw line and some of my forhead swelled also but the swelling has since went away. a few days later i noticed that where my forhead had swollen is now all squishy and makes a wierd sound when i touch it,is this normal? my only clue was maybe some of the blood from under my eye spread around my face?
After reading your post, I would like to advise that you should not worry much about the swelling after facial injury if the relevant investigations are normal).
It is common to develop swelling in the facial region especially near the forehead and eyes. This occurs due to anatomical structure of the tissue present at theses regions resulting collection of blood.
The swelling and discoloration takes some days to weeks time for getting normal.
