Is It Normal To Have Tingling Sensation In Arms And Legs While Suffering From Diabetes?
I have just found out thati am nearing the diabetic 5.9 mark on a fasting blood test that averages for the last 3 months. Is it too late to prevent diabetes. The doctor offered no suggestions other than diet and exercise. I also have tingling in my left arm and leg. Help
Hello, A proper dietary control along with shedding of weight and doing regular aerobic exercises are the mainstay of treatment at the moment as suggested by your doctor.Meications are added if these lifestyle changes fail to stop the progression into frank diabetes. Tingling in arms can be due to lack of VIT B12 and a proper replacement may bring you relief. Do take VIT D in addition. Stop smoking and moderate your alcohol intake. Thanks
