Is It Normal To Have White Fluid Discharge From Vagina After Having Sex?

Hello, I am 29 and recently married. I have noticed white fluid dripping out of my vigina immediately after sex with my husband. We are trying for a baby. It does not matter how long I stay in bed after sex, it still drips out when I get up. We are both a little inexperienced in this area. Is this fluid normal?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,

This fluid dripping out of vagina immediately after sex is perfectly normal. Don't worry about it. It is the semen and your vaginal secretions which are secreted during sex. This does not mean that all sperms are expelled out. It is the excess semen more than vagina can hold, that drips out.

Take one tablet of folic acid daily.
To increase your chances of conception you both should maintain normal BMI, quit smoking ( if you're a smoker) and have intercourse at least three times in a week.
I hope I have answered your concerns.
