Is It Normal To Notice Blood After Using Anal Sex Toy During Sexual Activity?

Hello, yesterday me and my partner tried using a butt plug for the first time it hurt so we took it out and didn t use it again. Today I went to the toilet and there was blood on the tissue and in the toilet bowl. Is that normal? Does it just need to heal or do I need to see a doctor?

Hi,

Blood is due to injury, can be a splinter tear where you need to meet a doctor in person.

If it's a simple ulcer no need to meet, wait to heal.

If you have persistent bleed and difficulty to withhold stools then its splinter tear.

Giving time and taking pain killer (if you have pain), avoiding spicy food and taking laxative will help you heal early.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
