Is It Normal To Randomly Start Brownish Thick Discharge While Being On Implant?

Hi, ive had the Nexplanon birth controle implant for almost a year now. My period stopped around march so I havent been bleeding for around 4-5 months. And all of a sudden I started having brownish thick discharge. Is it normal to randomly start your period again after so long? Or is this something different. Or is it normal. Please help. My body has been acting weird lately.

There can be some menstrual irregularities which can occur.
No need to worry.
Consult gynecologist in case of heavy bleeding or persistent bleeding.
