Is It Ok To Give Zytee Gel, Crocin To A 10 Month Old Baby As Prescribed For Discomfort In Gums Due To Teething?

hi
My daughter is 10 months old and cut her 1st tooth last week. Since then, she has stopped eating solids and takes just milk in the entire day. She is very active and passes urine and stool normally. She does not like cerelac or mashed rice and veggies or eggs. just takes half a roti depending on her mood.
She has also started crying quite a lot and becomes quite cranky at times.
Doc has recommended crocin twice a day and zytee gel on gums before meals. is it ok to give or would calcareaphos suffice.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that your 10 month child, has broken her tooth, and had infection, and pain, hence she could not eat any hard food.
I advise you to consult a dentist, for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, mefanamic acid, syrups. It is important to use a systemic antibiotic to cure the injury upto the root of the tooth and in short time.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
