Is It Okay To Discontinue Anti-rabies Vaccine After Two Shots When The Dog Is Vaccinated?
Before 2 years i got a dog bite and i take anti rabies vaccine on day 0 and three and i stop the vaccination because the dog was vaccinated and it is fine till now, but last week i got another exposure, and i am undergoing anti rabies shots do i need rabies immunoglobulin?

Hi,
You have to start anti rabies vaccine routinely while keep on observing the biting dog for symptoms of rabies. Complete the dose if dog is not available for observation. Rabies immunologic is indicated in known rabies infected dog with symptoms. Also, immunologic is given in case of unknown dog biting you.
