Diabetes can affect any age, He might be having Type1 diabetes which is known to occur in early age also.. i know of a child who got diagnosed as diabetic at age of 4 years only....so kindly do not ignore the symptoms... talk to his doctor sson and get necessary tests done to confirm and start treatment...All the very best..
