Is It Possible For Me To Just Have A Yeast Infection?

I recently was sort of (took test but no results yet from lab) diagnosed with genital herpes. I ve had the same sexual partner for almost a year now. What I have the doctor said could be a yeast infection as well or I could have both. Is it possible for me to just have a yeast infection? I do have little clumps of white but its not big or even rice size blisters. They are TINY.

Hi,

Yes, there are chances of 2 different infections at the same time. when there is decreased immunity.

Doing blood sugar can help you or doing a panel of sexually transmitted infection tests can do. If there is white discharge/redness/itching it can be a yeast infection. Doing a swab for fungus can help diagnose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
