Is It Possible That A Dent Would Disapear Which Was Caused Accidentally ?

I fell with my 3 month old baby and he hit his head causing a dent in his forehead. He didn't loose conscious and he was playful and laughing right after the incident. We went to the er and they said he was fine no brain damage or skull fracture. But the dr did say that he can see the dent thru x ray..will the dent disappear? Or will he have the dent for life?

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The dent is likely to be ping pong fracture of the skull, in which the bone gets depressed below the surface without actual break.
The bone will get elevated and its not lifelong.
By 1-2 years of age it should normalize.

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
