Is It Possible The Bile Is Causing Extreme Pain At The Anus Opening?
My Husband had a colon reconstruction due to a perforation when having a colonoscopy. His reconstruction surgery was 3 weeks ago. For 6 months, his sphincter muscle and anus was sleeping . The surgery went well, but he has extreme pain at the anus opening. He has bowel movements semi solid and then he has multiple bowel movements following, which become looser. Is it possible bile is causing this irritation. He literally screams and its like his bowel or sphincter muscle wants to continually push. What is going on and is this really normal?
Based on the information provided, it is possible that your husband is experiencing complications related to his recent colon reconstruction surgery. It is not uncommon for individuals to experience pain and discomfort after surgery, and this can include pain at the anus opening. Your husband's symptoms of multiple bowel movements that become looser and his sensation of continually needing to push may also be related to his recent surgery.
It is best to speak with your husband's doctor or surgeon about his symptoms as soon as possible. They will be able to evaluate him and determine if his symptoms are normal post-surgery side effects or if there is a more serious complication that needs to be addressed. The doctor may also be able to provide guidance on how to manage your husband's pain and discomfort.
Regarding the possibility of bile causing irritation, this is possible, but it would be important for your husband's doctor to evaluate him to determine if this is the case and if there is a need for any further intervention. It is important for your husband to receive proper medical care and attention to ensure his recovery goes as smoothly as possible.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
