Is It Possible To Get Periods While Being Pregnant?
hello my regular period date was 11 Aug 2014, as i had to postpone my period i had taken primulot n continuously for five days one per day. later after two days i got my period with less bleeding than normal. and it lasted only for twodays. normally i have regular periods with 4 days bleeding. now i am feeling very inconvenient.. omit sense and all. lack of digestion. giddiness. i have a doubt that whether am pregnent. is there any chance to get two days periods if i have pregnency also.. if gt conceived unknowingly.. does intake of this tablet affects my pregnency.
Hello dear Understand your concern Chance of pregnancy is less as you got period for two days. If you are pregnant then bleeding possibility is less. I advice you to wait for period to come. If period will delayed by 8-10 days then you can clear your doubt by urine pregnancy kit and or blood HCG. In some case virrilization of fetus has been occur in women on the primolut N as it contain progesterone. So confirm the fetus growth and monitor in USG scan to exclude adverse effect in pregnancy by consuting the fetal medicine specialist. Lack of digestions, giddiness are may be side effects of primolut N as it contain high progesterone (pregnancy like symptoms). Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
