Is It Possible To Get Pregnant If The Tubes Are Blocked?

hi i have a baby with c section,shes now 4 years old and i didnt concieved after that so my dr did my ovurian drilling and conclude that my both tubes are blocked and she tried unblocking them during the drilling but didnt work so only test tube is the option.i didnt believe if its possible so my question is is it possible? ???

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Tube may be blocked by PID, pelvic infection, particularly gonorrhea and chlamydia, scar tissue.

If both tubes are blocked, then chance of conceiving naturally is quite LOW to RARE as tube is the main place of fertilization. Tubal cannulation can be done to open tubal block and after that, you can try for pregnancy.

Otherwise, Test tube baby or In vitro fertilization is the best option in this case. I suggest you to consult with infertility specialist regarding this.
